Save a life by giving to Coastguard's MayDay Appeal
MayDay is Coastguard’s annual appeal raising much-needed money for our vital volunteer training programme. The focus of the appeal is “Train One, Save Many.” By training one volunteer, many lives will be saved. Coastguard volunteers will bring over 7,100 people back home to safety this year but we need the help of Kiwis to make that happen.
Our search and rescue volunteers dedicate countless hours of their own time to traniing, then rescuing those who get into trouble on the water. Your gift will help to provide vital training for these brave volunteers.

Hour for Coastguard
Our volunteers are regular people with jobs just like you. But they also put in over 360,000 hours a year to keep kiwis safe on the water and don’t get paid a cent to do it. Whatever you do for a job, please give just one hour’s pay to help train our search and rescue volunteers during the MayDay appeal.
